Rates

Charges vary according to the type of counseling services rendered, including:

  • Diagnostic interview

  • Family counseling

  • Multiple counselors in a session

  • Psychological testing

  • Group therapy

Payments are made at the ending of each session.

P-LPC
Rates

At Lifeworks we have counselors who are P-LPC (Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor). These are counselors who have completed a masters in counseling and are under supervision as they work towards earning full licensure as LPC in the state of MS. These counselors can charge a reduced rate or have sliding scale fees for clients who are self pay.

LifeWorks Counseling is an In-Network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi.
Some of our counselors accept Tricare, United Health/Optum, and Mississippi Physicians Care Network as well.

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Reduced Fee

If you do not have insurance and are referred by a church that is part of our referral network, we offer reduced fee services on a limited basis.

Cancellation

If for any reason you are not able to make it to your scheduled appointment, you must contact us within 24 hours. If you do not, we will be forced to charge you for the entire session.
