Josh is a Certified Sexual Addictions Therapist, EDMR III Trained (Attachment Focused) therapist, and a Certified Trauma Therapist intern. He has worked as a mental health therapist for 10 years, including 5 years working in residential treatment, helping heal both individuals and their families, struggling with various addictions, trauma, suicidal ideation, and depression/anxiety.

Josh believes all people are doing the best they can with what they have, and that no one has to be stuck in their current circumstances. Josh works with individuals, couples, and families to empower them to be a little better today than they were yesterday.  He helps his clients find the root of the problem, to determine the best path to healing and to improve their life and relationships. In your work with Josh he will use approaches that meet you where you are at, and tailor the therapy to fit your specific needs, while helping you face and navigate adverse life experiences that perpetuate underlying struggles and/or current obstacles along the way. Josh is passionate about helping his clients recover from deep emotional wounds, find core to core connection, and engage intimacy and life, instead of surviving disconnection and hopelessness.

In Josh’s time away from therapy, he enjoys hiking, running, outdoor sports and activities, playing board games, going to concerts or performances, watching sporting events, discovering good food, and sharing these things with his wife. Josh also was a youth and family minister for 5 years and enjoys serving at his church.
