What Is A Life Coach? Peer to Peer Coaching

What is life coaching or peer-to-peer coaching? Peer coaching is a relationship between two or more individuals, none of whom have oversight or authority over the others. Within these dynamics, coaches share insights, feedback, challenges, and practices. Peer coaching relationships provide accountability. They involve the process of giving and receiving non-clinical assistance to support long-term recovery from any life-dominating behavior. A peer recovery coach brings the lived experience of recovery, combined with training and supervision, to assist others in initiating and maintaining recovery, helping to enhance the quality of personal and family life in long-term recovery. Peer recovery support services can support or be an alternative to clinical treatment for those seeking guidance and wisdom from others who have walked the journey of life recovery - recovering the Life God intended from the beginning.
